Volunteer Role: Raffle Coordinator

Reporting to: Charity Manager  
Location: Remote 
Time Commitment: Approximately 5-7 hours per week 
Role Type: Voluntary 

We are seeking a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Raffle Coordinator to manage and run our charity’s online raffles. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, engaging with supporters and keeping accurate records, while helping to maximise vital fundraising income for DMT DRSG. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Managing the full raffle process, including setting up and promoting raffles, managing entries and monitoring participation 
• Tracking entries and payments accurately and ensuring all raffle records are kept up to date 
• Conducting or coordinating raffle draws fairly and transparently in line with the charity’s agreed process 
• Communicating with winners to arrange prize delivery 
• Monitoring outstanding payments and following up with participants where required 
• Attending a monthly team meeting via Microsoft Teams 
• Maintaining regular communication with the Fundraising Team 
• Maintaining confidentiality and handling supporters’ personal information appropriately and securely 
• Complying with all charity policies, procedures and values 

Skills & Attributes Required 

• Basic computer literacy and confidence using Excel, Facebook and online platforms 
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail 
• Reliable, proactive and able to manage tasks independently 
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional approach when dealing with supporters 
• Enthusiastic and committed to supporting DMT DRSG’s mission and fundraising objectives

Onboarding Process 

Shortlisted candidates will take part in a brief interview via Microsoft Teams to assess suitability for the role. Successful applicants will be required to: 

• Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement and Volunteer Agreement 
• Provide identification to allow background checks to be completed 
• Attend a general DMT DRSG induction session and complete role-specific training 

Once all checks and training are successfully completed, you will begin a trial period in the role.
