Fundraising Outreach & Support Coordinator
We are looking for a proactive, reliable and enthusiastic Fundraising Outreach & Support Coordinator to join our fundraising team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communicating with people, building relationships and identifying new opportunities to raise vital funds for our charity. The role will involve developing fundraising opportunities with individuals, businesses, community groups and organisations, as well as supporting the wider fundraising team with auctions, raffles, campaigns and events. You may also provide additional cover when other fundraising volunteers are unavailable. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, email and Facebook. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work independently are essential. You should also be flexible and willing to support different fundraising activities when required. The role includes maintaining accurate records, attending a monthly Microsoft Teams meeting and keeping in regular contact with the fundraising team. Confidentiality and compliance with all charity policies and procedures are essential. We offer full training and ongoing support, a friendly and supportive volunteer environment, and the opportunity to develop fundraising, outreach and relationship-building skills while making a meaningful difference to the lives of rescue dogs. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a brief Microsoft Teams interview. Successful applicants will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and Volunteer Agreement, provide identification for background checks, and complete a general DMT DRSG induction and role-specific training. Once these are successfully completed, you will begin a trial period. If you’re interested and feel you would be a great fit for the role, please email lora@dmtdrsg.org with a brief explanation of why you would like to join our team.

You will also communicate with winners to arrange prize delivery, follow up on outstanding payments where required, attend a monthly Microsoft Teams meeting and maintain regular communication with the Fundraising Team. You will need basic computer skills and confidence using Excel, Facebook and online platforms, along with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks independently.
