Treasurer Trustee (Board Member)

This is an exciting moment for the charity, as we grow, strengthen our voice and step into a more confident and visible future. To support this, we’re looking for a Treasurer to oversee our finances, ensuring they are managed legally, constitutionally and in line with accepted accounting practice. You’ll bring strong financial knowledge and be able to clearly communicate key information to non-financial trustees. While you’ll lead on financial oversight, the full board shares responsibility for how funds are raised and used. Working alongside our Operations Treasurer, you’ll monitor and report on financial health, support reporting and audits, advise on funding and strategy, and ensure compliance with OSCR requirements. As a trustee, you’ll also help guide the charity’s direction, act in its best interests, and contribute to good governance and decision-making. We’re looking for someone with experience in financial management or charity finance, strong analytical and communication skills, and a commitment to our values. Knowledge of SORP, OSCR or a professional qualification is helpful but not essential. This is a great opportunity to join a passionate team and play a key role in shaping the charity’s future.
