Background
Nettie was rescued from a city kill shelter in South Korea by our Yousachun rescue partners on 8th January 2026.

Personality & Behaviour
Nettie is a curious, energetic little girl with a happy, playful personality.
She loves exploring new places and happily spends her time sniffing and investigating everything around her. She enjoys being around people but is also an independent little soul who likes to do things at her own pace.
She is not fearful of people but prefers to keep a comfortable distance at first.
True to her dachshund nature, Nettie appreciates her own space and thrives in a calm, steady routine. With time, patience and respect for her boundaries, she will gradually build trust and show her affectionate side.

Health
At the time of rescue, Nettie tested positive for parvovirus and heartworm. She has since made a full recovery from parvovirus and has completed her heartworm treatment.

Adoption Status
Nettie will be looking for her forever home very soon.
