Background
Nettie was rescued from a city kill shelter in South Korea by our Yousachun rescue partners on 8th January 2026.

Personality & Behaviour
Nettie is a calm, independent little soul who enjoys life at her own pace. She loves being outdoors, happily sniffing and exploring, and can become completely absorbed following a scent.
She is not fearful of people but prefers to keep a comfortable distance, rarely seeking attention or interaction first.
True to her dachshund nature, she appreciates her own space and a quiet, steady routine. With time, patience, and respect for her boundaries, Nettie will gradually build trust and reveal her warmer side. She would suit a calm home that values her independent and peaceful nature.

Health
At the time of rescue, Nettie tested positive for parvovirus and heartworm. She has since recovered from parvo and has begun treatment for heartworm.

Adoption Status
As Nettie has only recently been rescued, she is not yet ready for adoption. She will be available once her rabies blood test shows clear results.
