Background
Mochi was rescued from a kill shelter in South Korea and has been safe in the loving care of our rescue partners since 19 November 2025. She is now enjoying the chance to recover, build her confidence and prepare for a brighter future.
Personality & Behaviour
Mochi is a sweet, calm and independent little girl with a gentle nature and a quirky personality. Friendly but not clingy, she enjoys spending time with people and is happiest when she can explore the outdoors at her own pace.
Curious and energetic, Mochi loves following interesting scents and can become completely absorbed in sniffing and discovering new places.
She enjoys gentle fuss and happily settles on laps once she feels comfortable. Calm and neutral around other dogs, Mochi would be equally happy living with a canine companion or as the only dog in the home.
Although she has a healthy appetite, Mochi is not particularly motivated by treats and may be tempted to pick up things she finds whilst out on walks, so supervision is recommended. She would thrive with a patient family who will give her time to settle, understand her independent nature and enjoy sharing plenty of outdoor adventures together. Once she feels safe, Mochi is a quietly affectionate and charming companion.
Health
Mochi underwent her initial veterinary checks on arrival and tested positive for heartworm and Giardia. She has now successfully completed treatment for both and has recovered well. She has also received all routine veterinary care, including vaccinations, microchipping and neutering, and is ready to begin the next chapter of her journey.
