Background
Leo was rescued on 26 March 2026 from a construction site in China, where he was living in terrible conditions with no care. He had been left behind, at risk of being taken for the meat trade or used for breeding.

Health
Leo will begin his veterinary checks shortly. Further updates will be provided in due course.

Adoption Status
Leo is not yet ready to be rehomed. He will need to pass his rabies test before he is able to travel.

As Leo is newly rescued, he has not yet been cat tested. This assessment will take place once he is fully settled at the rescue facility.
