Background:
Hazel was rescued at the end of September by our partner KDS in South Korea. She was found at a farm in a poor state, likely having been used for breeding, and is now safe in their care. Hazel is estimated to be around 7 years old.
Personality & behaviour:
Hazel is a sweet and resilient girl who has shown remarkable courage since her rescue. She responds well to gentle interaction and enjoys calm, reassuring companionship.
Health:
Shortly after rescue, Hazel had a lipoma removed from her side and has recovered well. She has been neutered and is currently heartworm positive, undergoing treatment that will continue for approximately six months until testing confirms she is clear. This treatment can be continued in the UK.
Ideal home:
Hazel is not currently ready to be adopted. With her unknown history prior to rescue and ongoing health needs, she will thrive best in a home that can provide patience, stability, and a calm, reassuring environment.
