DMT DRSG brought to me Rowan, the best mini cardboard shredder that South Korea can produce! Slightly battered but in excellent working order .
He is only slightly bigger than my size 7 foot! This refurbished model is a dream, it can multi task in other areas with the capabilities to have ninja powers of speed and stealth; Houdini’s escapology tricks nailed; a snuggly hot water bottle; Edmund Hillary’s climbing ability and endurance especially where food is concerned; a shopping bag emptying device, autonomous of course; a guard dog for the door; Einstein’s IQ for food puzzle games; the best built in tracking device , his gorgeous snoot, where any consumables are.
His abilities extend to teaching… his fur siblings to bark at doorbell! He’s a sun worshipper, an ornithologist, he loves listening to the birds and was amazed to hear an owl at night time. He is an excavation exert in the garden! He has his choice of furry cushions, his fur siblings. He is now the leader in the ‘dachshund dash’ out of the door.
Rowan was the most timid and oldest of the 10 dogs rescued from a hellish situation. He has bald patches where his hair will never regrow, thickened skin from the cramped conditions and his body on the bars and to me he is Perfect. (Please check out his story on our page) . He now shows the true indomitable character of a dachshund, tail up and ready for each and every day, not with fear or anxiety but with anticipation and excitement.
Please consider the oldies, I always do as they have so much to give , more than you’ll ever realize unless you open your hearts and homes. I’ve never regretted it. The joy of seeing Rowan becoming the best version of himself is incalculable, my heart bursts with love pride each and every day and there is so much laughter too. Rowan is precious and loved beyond words by all of us (Mum and 5 fur siblings) . Everyone needs their own! Thank you DMT DRSG, each and every one of you and his truly special Dog Mothers.
